Apple Blossom Pre-School opened in October 2014 and has gone from strength to strength gaining our Good ofsted grading in January 2017. We aim to give children as many learning opportunities as possible. We provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where your children will learn through play. We plan each term with this in mind. We hope our children learn to become self confident happy individuals with respect for others.
We Offer the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and ensure children have the opportunity to play and learn inside and outside through a range of exciting and stimulating activities.
Your child will enjoy new experiences and be able to participate in varied activities which include: Sand/water, painting/gluing, play dough, construction, puzzles, dressing up and much much more. Every day we also have story time, snack time, physical play and circle time where we tell each other our news and learn new action songs. This is also a time for building on self-esteem and confidence.
Throughout the year we hold various events to enhance the children's learning. i.e. Nativity play, Sports Day, Autumn Walk, Teddy Bears Picnic, Fire Service visit. At Harvest time we also collect groceries to share with St. Clements Church for the elderly.
Children are admitted from the age of 2 years after having a FREE trial session. We offer government funding for 3 year olds and some 2 year olds. We are also participating in the governments 30 hours FREE childcare.
